Inner Circle - Reggae Thing

this album stands out of many of the 70s era reggae recordings. its music is unique, beautiful, very melodic and emotional. jacob miller in the vocals, chinna smith in the guitar, horsemouth wallace at the drums and augustus pablo at the keys. this is a gem.

jah music!

Burning Spear - Social Living

a classic roots album filled with awesome harmonic explorations and praises to marcus garvey. this was one of the first reggae albums that i bought when i was in highschool and still it sounds like a timeless achievement in jah music. light one up and give thanks.

marcus say jah no dead

Don Carlos & Gold - Them Never Know Natty Dread Have Him Credential

Another reggae classic from the master of sweet talking the ladies, Don Carlos. This album is backed up by the incredible Roots Radics band with Gold backing up vocals, making some nice horn lines and some beautiful compositions.

ride on, christine.

Midnite - Nemozian Rasta

Midnite is a band based out of St. Croix that plays strictly roots and culture, enlightened jah music. they put out like 4 albums per year (they have 40+ albums). the obscure harmonies on this album changed my view of reggae music forever.

jah jah.

Dezarie - Eaze The Pain

Material to get pumped up for the show. Dezarie is gonna play in our island January 24, 2009.
I`m gonna be spending my birthday listening to this incredible voice and one hell of a backup band. Latest production from the rastafari empress from the island of St. Croix, Dezarie. She has a voice that resonates through your whole body while the backing Midnite band makes a great foundation of sound.

What ah lady.
