Broadcast - Tender Buttons


in loving memory of Trish Keenan, vocalist of Broadcast, who died this morning after struggling with pneumonia for 2 weeks. rest in peace.

stop looking for answers in everyones face.

    I couldn't believe when I read this post but unfortunately it's true.
    I had no idea she was so gravely ill.
    She was much too young to die.
    I got a lot of enjoyment out of listening to her in Broadcast, I think from now on it will be bitter sweet.
    This is very sad.

    This is so heartbreaking. Broadcast were to return in 2011. I am crushed over this. Trish was so brilliant. Rest in Peace.

    I had the distinct pleasure of watching Broadcast pley in my then-town opening for the Sea and Cake. Broadcast's set was so intense and so good and blew the fuck outta my neurons and whatever The Sea and Cake pretended to play that evening. They will be missed.

    Never listened to this band before. Saw this post and decided to check it out on youtube. Brilliant I must say!! Sad to hear of her death.
