this just in! a 10 minute EP has been released by Go Organ! with some classic 8bit danceable madness. sounds a little more sonic that the old releases. give it a try.

Charles Bullen (This Heat`s guitarist) started listening to some reggae music after a DJ friend of his turned him on to it. after the Deceit sessions he decided to start a project based on these caribbean rhythms and took it to a whole new level. inspiring lyrics, epic ras drum tracks, weird/beautiful harmonies and some chant-style voices that you would hear on any This Heat record. this is some serious stuff. its a rare listen at first but it sucks you in.

this album stands out of many of the 70s era reggae recordings. its music is unique, beautiful, very melodic and emotional. jacob miller in the vocals, chinna smith in the guitar, horsemouth wallace at the drums and augustus pablo at the keys. this is a gem.
feels like the 80s, having sex with vhs tapes, hanging out with a young boards of canada, four on the floor all the way, synthwise selectah, robots speak to me, lsd and where have you been all this time?

now for something totally different. inspired by the last posts containing the Timeless series and by many many good music that has surfaced this planet, yours truly has felt the need to communicate thy love and mix/mash a shit load of tracks that have inspired many of us and have shown us the true path of musical righteousness. presenting the first ever ADD mixtape series brought to you by Pantless himself!
Timeless: The Composer/Arranger Series is the name of a concert series that was created in homage to the composer/arrangers who have influenced hip-hop in the most literal and profound ways. Timeless was conceived by production house Mochilla in Los Angeles during February and March 2009 and included the performances of over 150 musicians in front of ecstatic sold out crowds. These three historic events were recorded and filmed in exacting detail with Mochilla's unmistakable style.

one of the most important bands that emerged from the streets of Puerto Rico. we grew up on this shit and most of us got inspired by these guys and many others to start playing music then and there. now you can have their whole entire catalog by just a click of a button.

rapper big pooh, such a nice name for a rapper. the beats in this album are heavily banging and the mcs are dope. I strongly recommend this album if you are heavily into neck breaking beats. this is an old 2005 production but still a classic in its own right.
we all owe this one to the one and only Pituco and his great mustache. check out his bar, have a drink with the man and listen to some nice tunes while reading about his conversations with other fellow musicians.
